Daystack is a radical minimalist focus tracker designed to clear your mental clutter. It runs entirely on your device (offline-first) so your data stays 100% private.
Psychologically, our brains struggle to separate repetitive habits from unique daily goals. Unlike traditional to-do apps, Daystack explicitly separates your Daily Habits from your One-off Targets to prevent visual overwhelm.
Every midnight, it automatically wipes your completed targets while preserving your habits, giving you a fresh psychological slate every morning.
Traditional to-do apps suffer from a fatal flaw: they mix long-term aspirations, daily repetitive habits, and unique one-off tasks into a single endless list. This causes visual overwhelm and the dreaded "to-do list fatigue". Daystack was built to solve this.
Daystack enforces a strict psychological separation:
1. Daily Habits (🌿): Things you do every day (e.g., "Read 10 pages"). They form your foundational pool. You complete them, and they automatically reset at midnight.
2. One-off Targets (🎯): Temporary tasks unique to today (e.g., "Email Sarah"). Once done, they disappear forever at midnight.
Every day at midnight, Daystack automatically wipes your completed targets and resets your habits. You wake up to a fresh, clean slate. This daily reset prevents the guilt of "carrying over" endless lists from the previous day.
Organize your tasks to clear mental clutter by utilizing the Priority System. Click the priority circle next to any task to assign it a High (red), Medium (yellow), or Low (blue) priority. Use the top filter bar to instantly sort and filter your lists, allowing you to focus exclusively on what matters most right now.
To help you maintain radical focus, the app operates entirely offline. It uses a single-file architecture to ensure zero latency, zero cloud bloat, and total privacy. The UI is intentionally glassmorphic and calming, featuring a "Zen Breath" effect to reduce anxiety.
The cloud has changes. Review the differences below, then keep this device's version (Push) or the cloud version (Pull).
